Methexis

Methexis is a series of drawings made with watercolor and ink discovering terms that are both geometric and cosmological such as form, formation, full, empty, movement, stability, similarity, difference, unity, plurality, boundary. Drawings serve as fragments of pictorial depictions of a cosmological myth, where a single black point transforms into many other shapes, however the myth itself does not have a linear verbal narrative component, and is intentionally missing or maybe hidden as a part of its nature.

The word methexis is borrowed from Platonic cosmology, the dialogue Timaeus. Eidos (commonly referred as a "platonic forms" such as beauty, harmony, justice, symmetry that are on the soul realm) penetrates to the corporeal substance of the physical realm via dynamis (force). This process of cosmological creation is called Methexis.
